Sibiu is one of the most important towns in
Transylvania with a remarkable development potential also due to its location on the Pan European Corridor IV.
Sibiu is situated in the southern part of Transylvania, on the Cibin river, at 45 ◦47’ north latitude (in line with Lyon) and 24◦05’ east longitude (almost in line with
Athens),very close to the geographic centre of
Romania.
Sibiu is crossed by the European roads E68 (Arad-Sibiu-Brasov) and E 81 (Cluj-Sibiu-Pitesti-Bucharest).
Directions
From the
SibiuInternational Airport you go east on
Alba Iulia Street which continues with a curve to the right on
Andrei Saguna Street. At the end of the curve on the left side you will find the Continental hotel Sibiu, in Piata Uniri no.10.
From Sibiu’s train station you go towards the center of the town on General Gheorghe Magheru Street, you go left on Constitutiei Street and at the round about you take right on Corneliu Coposu Boulevard. At the intersection with
Andrei Saguna Street you turn right and at only 100 m away you will see the hotel.
